About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have sought after creative expression, especially storytelling and it’s many forms. While I was dealing with a severe illness as a child, playing video games was the main way I spent my time, and I absolutely fell in love with them. As I grew older my love and appreciation for video games only deepened. It was only natural that I would combine my love of video games and my affinity to storytelling. I knew I wanted to “make games” since I was about eight, and set my mind on game design at thirteen.
Games have made me feel intense emotions and given me unforgettable experiences, I aim to give players the same. As a designer, I specialize in systems and narrative design, but I like to think that I specialize in merging them together. I make games by blending together my personal ideas and experiences, with several sources of inspiration including other video games, but also films, music, history, culture, and more. I then take this blended concoction, pour it into a nice glass, and put a little umbrella on top.
Outside of video games I have many hobbies including films, working out, table top games, model building, anime, baking, and cooking.
I am currently attending DigiPen Institute of Technology to study game design. In April 2025 I will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design, and a Minor in Psychology.
My favorite game of all time is Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (2001).
Some of my other favorite games include (in no specific order): the rest of the Metal Gear Solid games, Half-Life (1998), Half-Life 2 (2006), Far Cry 3 (2012), Elden Ring (2022), Ghost of Tsushima (2020), Death Stranding (2019), Resident Evil Remake (2002), Resident Evil 4 (2005), Silent Hill 2 (2001), Fallout: New Vegas (2010), System Shock 2 (1999), Star Fox 64 (1997), Star Fox: Assault (2006), F.E.A.R. (2005), Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward (2012), and Yakuza: Like A Dragon (2020).
